The exhibit, called “Conflux”, will be at MacMurray College's Applebee Art Gallery.
Using a variety of media, "Conflux" will be a showcase of the wide breadth of expression in the arts that exists in local schools and studios and that helps to bring a sense of vitality to our communities and the region's students. The high school art instructors who will have their work on display are Linda Dunseth from Routt Catholic High School and Jason Wolters from Winchester High School. There will also be several works on display from instructors at MacMurray College, Illinois College, Lincoln Land Community College, and the University of Illinois Springfield.
An opening reception for the exhibit is tomorrow evening from 6:00 to 8:00 at the Applebee Gallery, located in the Putnam/Springer Center at the southeast corner of Clay and State on the MacMurray campus. The reception is free and open to the public.
The exhibition continues through February 22nd at the Applebee Gallery which is open 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Friday.
