Fifty-two-year-old Charles Hinds was booked at the Morgan County Jail at 6:45 p.m. on the charge. The JPD says Hinds admitted to touching a child between the ages of 12 and 16 in an inappropriate manner on numerous occasions.

No other details were immediately available.

Hinds remains in custody.
