MacMurray looking for Blackstock memories

When MacMurray opened its first all-male dormitory in 1957, it was barely finished, with wires attached to light fixtures still hanging from the walls of the new building. Now, the college is demolishing the 55-year-old building, creating more green space on the campus.
The college is trying to get in touch with its alumni who lived in Blackstock House, hoping to collect memories of living in the dorm for preservation.
The dorm closed in 2003 when enrollment at MacMurray dropped to the level that the building was no longer needed.
