Big Brothers Big Sisters gets money from Dot Foods

Dot Foods is giving $31,000 to Big Brothers Big Sisters of West Central Illinois. The organization is based in Morgan, Cass, Adams, Brown and Schuyler Counties. Each county chapter will receive $6,000, while BBBS will get $2,000 in Dot Country Store credit.
It’s the first installment of a potential $75,000 contribution to the organization this year.
In addition to contributing towards specific fundraising goals by Big Brothers Big Sisters, the additional $44,000 can be earned throughout the year for matches between “Bigs” and “Littles” involving Dot employees and youths in the community.
Seven Dot employees’ matches reached maturation at the end of last year that meant a donation of $12,000 to BBBS.
The company contributed a total of $19,000 to Big Brothers Big Sisters last year.
