"Todstock" to benefit area musician fighting cancer
The “On the Rox” bar at 39 South Central Park is hosting an event to raise money for Tod Olson arranged by friends and family. Olson is undergoing treatment at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis after being recently diagnosed.
“Todstock” will include music starting at 5 p-m from Austin City Limits, Flatland, Muddy Jones Band, JAX and Sleepwalker. Other musicians scheduled to play include Robert Sampson, Jeff Newman, Peter Scott, Stan Robinson, Acoustic Avenue and more.
Food will be available as early as 11 a.m., including baked beans, coleslaw, pulled pork, and potato salad. A Cash bar, 50/50 drawing and item raffle will take place.
A live auction starts at 1:00. Anyone wanting to donate items can drop them off at the bar this week. Cash donations can be made to the Olson Trust at Jacksonville Savings Bank in care of Laura Marks.
