The first happened at Old State and Wholers road at around 7:15 a.m., injuring 39-year-old Holly O’Neal of Sherwood Eddy Drive. According to the Morgan County Sheriff’s Office, O’Neal was going eastbound, lost control at a curve, went into a ditch and overturned.
The second crash happened a little over a mile west of Route 123 at about 7:35. In that accident, 28-year-old Cynthia Arnold of Springfield was hospitalized after apparently driving westbound, lost control of the vehicle, hit a culvert, and ended up in a residential driveway.
Both O’Neal and Arnold were taken to Passavant Area Hospital after their accidents and have been treated and released.
The Jacksonville Police Department assisted the sheriff’s department with the first crash.
