Hi. I'm Bob Thomas - the early morning personality on WLDS AM 1180. I live here in Jacksonville and have for about 35 years now. I graduated from MacMurray College and began my teaching career here in District 117. I taught in District 117 for 32 years before retiring. Now I spend a good part of my time away from the radio station surfing the internet. My other major pastime is following the Carrollton Lady Hawks. I attend almost all of their games. My favorite is basketball. I follow Class A girls basketball in the State of Illinois closely and enjoy attending the state tournament each year. My children are all grown and have blessed me with a whole bunch of wonderful grandchildren.
